We need to make a statement in this game, we are at home, national tv.....time to put it all together and play together. It has to happen sometime, hopefully Saturday night will be the moment in the season when everyone accepts their roles and we get it done.

Remember the last time we lost at home was to Michigan State in double overtime last year.....

:oh: :io:

Revenge sounds good to me...

"I think the crowd sometimes may underestimate their role in a game," said Matta.

"We've seen it at home and we've seen it on the road where when it gets real loud it really becomes difficult for the opposing team to execute or do whatever they're trying to do. I think that honestly it's very important."

Pleeeease, if you or anyone you know is going to the game tommorow, please pass Thad's message on, especially those in the money seats who view competitive sporting events as some form of dinner theatre. Thanks!

OHIO STATE MEN?S BASKETBALL
Matta hopes to see whiteout vs. Spartans

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

The only time Thad Matta has experienced a whiteout was a few years ago while on a recruiting trip to Detroit. His flight home was canceled. Rather than take the next one, he decided to drive back. "I was going through Toledo and it was snowing so hard I couldn?t see," he said. "Somebody told me, ?That?s called a whiteout.? That?s the only time I?ve been in one. It was pretty impressive." The Ohio State men?s basketball coach hopes the one he ordered up for tonight is just as imposing.

IMO this game could be decided by how well the big men other than Oden play. Hunter and Twigs. With morgan back their forwards will be freed up to an extent. Well ok we need to pick up the defense, We don't need a 30 point performance from their point guard. Any way when Oden is on the bench we need some plays made and rebounding done down low.
If State tries to run a lot in transition we better be ready.
GO BUCKS !

I would love to see all three big men in at once. I think Twigs needs to get more min's.

How tough does anyone think it would be to go down and scalp for this game? Last year someone offered me 200 for my 2 tickets. I dont have any this year how much should I bring to campus?

If you have 200 you should be fine, but if you can wait it out till right after tip off 100 should be able to do the trick if you are looking for 2 seats...

Matta seems very insistent that the crowd shows up tonight. Anyone going to this game should represent OSU well, I'll try to do my part. I guess there is one advantage to this being a 9PM tipoff, it's possible that the gray hairs will give their tickets away because this game will run much later than their bedtime. :wink2:
