Matta seems very insistent that the crowd shows up tonight. Anyone going to this game should represent OSU well, I'll try to do my part. I guess there is one advantage to this being a 9PM tipoff, it's possible that the gray hairs will give their tickets away because this game will run much later than their bedtime. :wink2:

Hell, it's later then my bedtime... I'll be up tonight though!!!!!!

key to the game: the team who scores more points will win...

OK, I'm calling this BS. Everyone knows its the team that scores the least points that loses. Sorry, JO, I just couldn't live with myself and this charade any longer.

IMO this game could be decided by how well the big men other than Oden play. Hunter and Twigs. With morgan back their forwards will be freed up to an extent. Well ok we need to pick up the defense, We don't need a 30 point performance from their point guard. Any way when Oden is on the bench we need some plays made and rebounding done down low.
If State tries to run a lot in transition we better be ready.
GO BUCKS !

:oh:

Couldn't agree more. I've been saying, for awhile now, that we should experiment with all three on the court at the same time. Tonight may be the night we finally see Oden, Hunter and Twigs on the court together.

Chuck Norris does not shave because no blade could cut any part of Chuck Norris. Instead, he wills his beard to keep itself in line.

As for the game, quality wins or not Sparty will come to play in our house, just like last year. Can't wait for tip-off as our crowd should be rowdier than usual with a late Saturday start.
:oh: :io:

MSU might actually try to play half court and slow the game down.
They might see if their defense can out do ours. Nietzel will do the outside thing. They have big men but Oden should dominate. we will need that Defense.

Buckeyes give defenses fits

Oden, Conley, 3-pointers all big concerns for MSU

By Joe Rexrode
Lansing State Journal

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Greg Oden gets all the pub. That's to be expected for a 7-foot-1 freshman center who's tabbed as the No. 1 pick in the next NBA draft and looks like he's been in the league for 15 years.
For Michigan State, though, entering tonight's prime-time showcase at Ohio State, Oden's teammates command equal attention. The dazzling freshman point guard. And the quartet of players who spark overwhelming surges with their 3-point shooting.
