#6 Ohio State 62, Illinois 44 (Final)

If we can play our game and limit the outside shot, and not get rattled by the crowd we should win this game.

Should be interesting to see how the young guys handle the crowd, especially after already having big road games at Florida and UNC.

I think that may be a problem too. Not just for this game but for the whole Big Ten season. We better learn to rotate Harris in and protect Oden early in games. I think we can learn to work around it ok.

I expect Ohio State to win every game.....I wear scarlet and gray glasses. :wink2:

On a serious note, this is not your typical Illinois team, they have a few issues of their own......we have more than a chance, especially if we can hit from the perimeter....it's close, but I think we pull it out.

I too am surprised. The game was at scUM wasn't it?

Yes the game was at Michigan.

i beat this thread ends up with a discussion that someone will think mike conley jr is the second comming (insert whoever you think the best pg of all time) and someone will think hes not worth a pile of poopy.

in reality hes an 18/19 year old with a heck of a game and some things he can work on.

He may very well be the second coming. But the key word is "coming", because he's not there yet. He's the best young point guard I've ever seen in a Buckeye Uniform though.

I think Ill might of been looking ahead, knowing how we ruined their season a couple years ago and we are coming to Champaign.

It will be a hard fought battle, but as long as we stayed poised and play our game we win.

I think we will see some more growing up of the kids right in front of our eyes. What a great game to get them ready for the Kohl Center on the 9th. I will take a win anyway we can get one.
