the team is playing is some form of sucky amoeba defense. it's "pick up the man with open ball and probably be a step behind" defense. spacing continues to hassle the team. illinois sets pick and screen after pick and screen. this game will be a great learning tool, though. few teams runs this many screens. they will, though, when they face us, i guess.

Yep. Our perimeter defense is horrible. Thank God Illinois isn't knocking down their wide open outside shots.

Funny thing happened when the Illini guard passed up the open outside shot to attempt a layup....his shot's fate met with Mr. Oden.
