with scalping over face value being legal in missouri, i imagine that there will be a great market for scalping sweet 16 tickets. is that accurate?

I'm not familiar with scalping tickets there, but I doubt it would be that hard to find something before the game. I've hardly been to any major sporting events in MO, so take my opinion lightly. Good luck on finding tickets!

Anybody know what time Sparty plays on Friday? Hopefully we don't have to wait around to long. Anyone else going to be there? My brother and I will be there sitting in section 115!

EDIT: Crap Sparty plays at 9:37. Looks like I'm going to have to downtown STL to avoid the traffic.

The 7:07 and 9:37 (estiimated) are Eastern times, so it's only 8:37 in STL.

it will be nice to have michigan state playing after us. the spartan fans will be rooting for the buckeyes, and the buckeye fans will be rooting for the spartans. there should be a home court feel for both big ten programs; although, michigan state will have both tennessee and northern iowa rooting against them. most uni fans may root for us, but i doubt they'll care either way.

if you apply that logic id expect you have a significant amount of n. iowa fans who are also hawkeyes. eg ou and ohio state, or kent st, akron, bg, toldeo, etc

Tennessee will be arriving by way of their preferred ride, the cop car.

Hopefully, the game doesn't go too late. I imagine that most of the UT players have to be back in Knoxville the next morning bright and early for community service. Good thing they won't have to change uniforms for their roadside litter pick up duties. Gotta love that orange.

I'd like to first thank Buckeye513, who I have repped, for providing this perfect example of authentic Southern gibberish stereotyping of other Southerners, spoken by a young man who truly is a spiritual descendant of Gabby Johnson and whose honesty about his true feelings is so missing these days from the social discourse...

Chism could be a tough matchup for Lauderdale but if you can get Chism in foul trouble early....they have to rely a lot on their streaky shooters like Hopson. UT plays up or down to the level of the team they are playing so expect them to play tough. I expect them to try to press some and frustrate Turner like GT did. They are super athletic....makes me very nervous.....I think the winner of this game will be in the final four.

Williams has played pretty well since coming back from his little run in with the law. He could present a tough match up as well. 6-11, 275....not quite as marshmallowish as he once was. Tennessee is long and athletic, which the good guys must overcome also. Turner needs to shoot the rock better. After getting pressed these last two games so intensely, if UT tries to do the same I think Evan will be more than ready for it.
