#7 Ohio State 82, Iowa 63 (Final)

Iowa has found more of an identity lately, winning their last 6 in a row at home. The problem is that this one is on the road for them, and they haven't won a single one of those yet this year :p

The Bucks are way too much for Adam Haluska to single-handedly take on, and will win big again.

Will we see a zone again? If not who will match up against AH?
I think the zone is a good way of keeping GO closer to the basket.

I'm sure you're going to see the zone again. That will easily be the best way to contain Haluska and Tyler Smith, their 3 and 4 respectively. It also protects Oden from pesky fouls. The key to this game is going to be guarding Adam from the 3-bomb as he's had 4 treys or more 7 games this season. Adam has also been drawing fouls from defenders as of late (30/35 from the FT line the past 4 games).

I tell you what. It's going to be really enjoyable punishing the same schools in basketball and football.

That is why I can't talk to my friends from Florida any more. The chicks are hotter, the weather is nicer, AND they sorta did the above....

:oh:well.

Any season we make Lloyd look bad is a good one in my book.

I've only seen them play one half of a game, but I think you are right GD. Haluska and Smith looked good but there wasn't much else to support them. Iowa did have some good defenders inside. Looby has 33 blocks this year, yet only has played about half the time. He had a real presence. Of course, he hasn't played Oden yet.

Iowa is struggling at point guard and is very bad at defending the three. Consequently, this game may look a lot like the last in that respect, with lots of production from our guards and forwards.

This will be Iowa's third loss in four games. I think they will mail it in a bit at the end.

The bright side:

1. Couldn't get those hot chicks anyway.

2. Don't have to deal with the anxiety of hurricane season.

3. We get to kick the shit out of Michigan, Iowa, Michigan St., Illinois, Penn St., etc. (schools I hate) while they beat schools I couldn't give two jiggles of a jackrabbit's ass about.
