76ers-Heat First Round

IMHO, Heat win this series with ease. I don't think the Heat can beat a good team, with a good point guard. The Heat with LeBron at "point forward" are at a disadvantage compared to Rondo, or Rose. If you were looking for a "choke point", so to speak in Lebron game, this where it shows.

Anyone needing a reminder on why these guys are the biggest douche bags in the entire sports world should have watched the last few minutes tonight.

Bosh at one point screamed at the crowd to pump them up, he then proceeded to play like a fucking pussy the rest of the fourth quarter.

Wade got called for a technical with a minute left in a two point game because he got fouled (when on replay it was not even close to a foul.)

Wade also got the rebound on his side of the floor with 8 seconds left in a four point game. He trotted down to the opposite end of the court, and even though it was apparent no one was defending him anymore because the game was over, he ran in and dunked it with .5 seconds left.

Was really disappointed to see Iggy ruin the game with a contested 12 foot shot down by 3....

Just an awful decision that sealed the game.

I hate the C's, but really hope they can take the Heat.

I just have had this feeling all year that the Heat would win the championship and I'm not backing off of it. A team of LeBron, Wade, and Bosh will be extremely tough to beat over the course of 7 games. I hope to God it happens though....LeBron doesn't deserve a championship by taking the easy way out...

That kind of shit is inexcusable unsportsman-like conduct, IMO. You don't see that in high school or college (at least, the two areas I've lived for HS) even in 4pt. games. Have some respect. Just because you're at the highest level doesn't give you the excuse to act like a total d-bag (that goes for all sports, I don't care if you say its all in good fun).

Home game, first series win in like 5 years, gives the crowd a little show with a dunk. Then immediately went over and gave Doug Collins a hug. Collins didn't seem to upset about anything, so why should anyone else?

Now if Kobe did it, i'd be right there with you shouting from the rooftops about what a douche bag he is

Was commenting on the act in general. I don't care who does it or what the circumstances may be. The only time I would even consider giving that a pass would be a teams very first championship, and that's it. Congrats on him showing some class afterwards by actually shaking hands. I know of one person on his team who doesn't always show that kind of class after a win, and almost never after a loss; and has done it his entire career.

like most buckeye fans tell me, people hate winners

Evidently not the reason anyone hates Wade, then--the guy rode Shaq's coattails to a title in '06, and didn't win another playoff series until two other All-Stars showed up in South Beach. If Wade was really a "winner," as you suggest, he would have at least led his team to a playoff series win sometime in '07, '08, '09, or '10, no?

there's no doubt shaq was the cog that helped kobe and Wade win their titles. It's obvious you can't win one without a dominant big man these days. ergo, kobe couldn't win one until Pau was brought into the mix. Which is also why Miami probably won't win a title this year either......
