Then drive.

If you love your kids so much then I'd expect you'd relish the extra time spent with them while driving.

If you value your peace and quiet so much, don't use mass transit. Or wear headphones.

If I ever take my daughter on a flight, anyone so much as shoots me a dirty look better hope the air marshalls follow them to their hotel...because I will be.

so why should we lose out on valuable vacation days to drive somewhere when we can get there in half the time by flying?

Most the time we do drive, but we did go to Disney a few months ago. My kids are 4, 2, and 6 months at the time. They did great, even got a few complements from other people as they were getting off the plane about how well behaved they were.

Like Lyle said, they make great noise reducing headphones these days. Turn that frown upside down and deal with it. It could be worse, you could be that parent knowing everyone on the plane wants to come over and punch you.

Flying with children under the age of 7 should be outlawed or else there should be a sound-proof section of the plane for them to sit.

Flying internationally all the time I can totally agree with this. I notice with young kids, infants especially, the pressure of the altitude does not seem to work for them. And, no offense to parents out there, but if I am on 16 hour flight from Singapore to the US and 14 of it spent with a screaming kid it's not a fun experience.

Who the [censored] is Lyle?

 that's your new nickname, Lyle.

I'm willing to bet that has nothing to do with your children.

Why would anyone want to punch me?

If only they made smell reducing nose phones as well.

I'll give you a look if your kid is being an annoying rugrat. When you travel with kids, you better be prepared for it.

I stand by my statement, it should be against the law to fly with kids less than 7 years old.

Funny thing is, before your daughter, I'm positive you're agreeing with me.

Anyhow, I didn't realize people in Newark ever traveled any farther than Cedar Point so you should be good.

Delayed flights that are the first flight of the day for a plane. How does a plane sit all night and not get prepped for its first flight of the day? How does the airline all of a sudden realize, hey this plane has a fuel leak now and we are scheduled to leave shortly? You would think that they would be more proactive in having a plane on the first leg ready to go knowing that it will fuck up all sorts of other flights afterwards....

a lot of the reasons it gets delayed because it got in late and the mandatory 8 hours or w/e it is for crew rest gets put into affect
