After backing off his pledge to Georgia in late December, the word was that the four-star offensive lineman from Prichard (Ala.) Vigor could have Auburn as his new front-runner but DeBose’s list seems to be getting longer.
The Tigers could still be the team to beat and the others could be a little smokescreen but LSU, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida State and Michigan are making a run at him. Over the weekend, his talks with Freeze and Auburn OL coach Jake Thornton definitely helped the Tigers in the long run.

Looks like a pretty stout line-up for Micah. Only one team above the Mason Dixon line. Well, he can buy plenty of warm weather gear with the NIL money he'll get with the Buckeyes. Thought Ga was in a bit of turmoil with coaching staff....anyway, certainly wouldn't let this 'un go without at least a stab at it.

Really odd on UGA, but I'll take it as that was a big threat in my eyes. In-state schools are the main competition it seems.
Well, they're rumored to be leading for Sanders Jr, and there are 2 other 4 stars in GA at OT as well. Not to mention they recruit OL like OSU recruits WRs.
I'm all for UGA not being in this fight

Per 11w:

OT Micah DeBose says Ohio State is "definitely" in his top three schools with LSU and Auburn.

DeBose said he will be making an OV in the summer with his mom, dad, and grandmother.

His grandmother and other family still live in Cleveland and will be making the trip down to OSU too.

Micah himself was born and raised in Cleveland until he was 8 years old.

As always with an elite OL from the south (even with the Ohio ties, which does help), I will believe it when I see it. But I do think there is a real shot here even though I would say Auburn has the lead, with LSU and OSU about the same. If we managed to get Debose to go with Lowe though...whew, talk about addressing a major need.
