Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

I was just using those players as a reference. But honestly, most of the players that would be in shape enough to even take advantage of this rule, are actually productive in the NFL, so it'd be kind of difficult for tOSU.
The one person I had in mind most when I made that original statement is Pryor. Don't follow the NFL much and am not going to look this up, but isn't Pryor playing well for the Browns?

Pryor is playing very well! The best player that the Browns have. He's a no go.
I would have no problem with Mike Adams going over technique with O lineman. Or having Kenny Guiton comeback, this rule allows for some players to provide additional help as they are playing or have played at the highest level. Why not take advantage

If Pryor is playing well, why is he a "no go?" Especially if you are OK with Mike Adams? Sarcasm font?

He's a no go because the players that helped the previous teams, did so because they were no longer in the NFL. Pryor is healthy and playing and wouldn't be able to help in Columbus during the week when he's actually putting in work on an NFL team. Unlike Trent Richardson or Marshawn Lynch. And Mike Adams was named because I don't believe that he's on an NFL roster

Ok. That makes sense. Hadn't considered the players' NFL duties during the week.

But I still say no to the TAT-5. That was too much pain due to a small group of players.

Time should heal all wounds. They're still Buckeyes, look at the reception that Pryor got when he played the preseason game in The Shoe. Fans still love him and embrace him. Dumb moves while they were young and immature shouldn't be held over their heads forever. The Tat 5 had a great run and was a great bridge to the current Buckeye team(except the whole giving back wins and the 2011 year of what should've been)
