ALCS 7 games: Red Sox or Rays?

Fun game to watch last night. I can't believe Francona put in Timlin. That guy waves a white flag every time he steps on the mound. :smash:

Totally... after a 5 hour game where we could have come back to Boston up 2-0... How do you put in Timlin? The ump was being pretty inconsistent on the strike zone though, it made me think he just wanted the game over.

Seriously. I don't like to complain about umps/refereeing, but that was ridiculous. I was getting really sick of the TBS announcers as well. Who the fuck cares how many pieces of gum Francona has chewed?

I was at the game on Saturday and was sitting next to a Sox fan that said pretty much the same thing.

It was a great game but the Rays fans need to wake up a little more when they get back to the Trop.... unless the Rays win out in Boston of course :)

I'm a bit shocked at tonight's performance. Lester gave up too many long balls and Garza pitched smart and strong. Kudos to the Rays play tonight. Wakefield really gets me nervous normally, but he's just going to have to step it up.

I think the batting order needs to be

Pedroia
Kotsay CF
Youk
Bay
Papi
Drew
Lowrie
Casey 1B
Varitek

Switch it up a little. Papi is doing nothing and Jacoby... less than nothing.

Mostly agreed, but I think Crisp needs to be in there. He's swinging the bat, and he always gets fired up to play the Rays. :)
