Annual Spring Game - 2009

I don't think it was that big a jump from three years ago. the weather 's been the shits the last two games.

I sat through the rain last year and it was fine. I sat through the heat this year and it was fine. I don't mind the weather as long as there's football involved. I'd even sit through a snow storm - it's the game that motivates me, not the weather.

Besides, it's a boy's day out. It doesn't get much better than that.

:tibor: The weather was great this year and two years ago. Last year it was a little rainy, hardly horrible.

The other 75k people that attended had a different take on the weather:

I wasn't necassarily talking about the one deep throw Pryor made to Washington.

My recollection of that long throw to Washington was that it was underthrown?? I thought Washington was wide open before the ball was thrown, but the gap narrowed to a few inches by the time the ball go there????

Anyway, I must say that Pryor's performance has me much more optimistic than Boeckman's performance last year. Last year, if I recall, Boeckman threw like 8 straight times to Hartline and then the defense figured it out and picked him off.

But this year, Pryor did nothing of the sort and threw no interceptions, and had something like a 72% completion ratio.

Keep in mind the throw was made into the wind.

It looked to me like TP locked in on the receiver as soon as he backed away from center. Great throw, into the wind, but we'll get burned next year if he telegraphs where he's going with the ball like that.

Can't really tell since there's two receivers on that side.

BTW, that pass was beautiful. Reminiscent of his TD pass to Hartline in the second quarter of the scUM game. Perfect spiral and perfect arch. It just dropped into T-Wash's lap.

Game torrent:
2009 Ohio State Spring Game avi

Just found it, don't know if it's high-def or not yet.

Edit: It's widescreen, pretty decent quality.

Question for mods:

Can I put this link in the video or torrent sections? If someone comes looking for it later I doubt they'll comb through this thread to find it. My only problem with it is the link goes to mgovideo. There are demonoid and piratebay trackers on it, but I haven't been able to find it at either of those sites.

Any ideas?

download it and create your own tracker here in BP and make a torrent here.
