Antoine Winfield Jr. (DB Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Really bugs me this kid rubs our nose in it every time he makes another amazing play as he winds his way to the superbowl...

I can hear him say... "so I wasn't big enuf to play for y'all.. take this" especially yesterday

Really bugs me that we never offered the kid. One of the rare "misses" by the Buckeye staff.

By the way, here's the list of DBs whom the Buckeyes signed instead of Antoine Winfield, Jr:

Wayne Davis did nothing in Columbus for two years, then transferred to James Madison. Davis became a starter for James Madison in 2019; James Madison did not play fall football in 2020 due to COVID concerns.

Rodjay Burns had a 75-yard pick six against Bowling Green in garbage time in 2016, transferred to Louisville in 2017 to be closer to his ailing father; he ended up becoming a starter for Louisville in 2020 (at linebacker) and was second on the team in tackles with 83.

Jahsen Wint played (poorly) for three seasons, then got booted for (allegedly) raping a woman.

Tre Avery, formerly known as Kareem Felder, signed with Ohio State, transferred to Toledo before the season began, then transferred to Rutgers, where he became a 3rd team All Big Ten performer as a senior in 2020.

You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done
