iPhone 5 reviews:

CNET
Engadget

Here let me sum up all the tech sites review of the iphone 5.

"ZOMG, its like the best phone ever, of course until APPLE comes out with the Iphone 5s or 6. We love all things Apple, we wish we could have given Steve Jobs all our money to save his life"

Sorry might come off as bitter but 90% of tech sites are nothing but apple fanboys, which means apple can do no wrong.

They make nice stuff but I'd rather not pay a premium price for their stuff

I don't mean to be a jerk when I say this, but that reads like a flamebait comment from Gizmodo or Engadget.

I can't speak for what goes on in the Android-related threads here because they don't concern me, but I know the Apple-related ones have been a good place for people who actually own the devices or would consider getting one to exchange opinions and information. They have been relatively free of fanboy drama, and as a moderator I intend to make sure they stay that way.

News, reviews and opinions that come from experience using the device are welcome here. Coming here to flame or mock people who prefer iPhone over Android is not welcome. I would hope that the same is true of the Android threads.

I haven't read the Engadget review yet, but you couldn't be more wrong with the cnet review. Do they get excited about some features, yes. Are they down on apple for those not included, yes. I have to admit that cnet review was unbiased, and fair. And they gave the device 4* out of 5*

Look with your eyes (or in this case, read), before you go in blind.

Sorry not my intention to flame or mock. I apologize if my attempt at humor in this thread was a little off color. I'll use better judgement next time

Considering the jump to iPhone 5 when my contract is up in October. Purchased the new iPad in March and have been extremely impressed with. I've been an Android phone user to this point.

if your contract is close to up then you might only have to pay a couple bucks. thats what im doing soon as it calms down and they are OUT. my contract is up in NOV but think i did 200 cancel fee and the 10 off per month. so should be in the clear.

I'm with tmobile...currently it would cost me 50 bucks to get out. Not bad. I do want the 32gb though.
