Aundrey Walker (Southern Cal Signee)

Millani is a nice guy though, so he shouldn't take any offense or show any irritation to this Amy character.
I appreciate the distraction while I'm studying for a business law midterm and a financial accounting midterm tomorrow.

They are greasy that is for sure and Kiffin hasn't won anything period. Fully agree that Grant is a special player but Walker was the best O-lineman at the Army All Star Game and we are a little in need of depth upfront. Also, I don't think SC would be chasing Drey down soooo hard if he was well, a middle of the road player..... anyway I'd love to drop some "yeah I thought he was coming your way the whole time dude" with as much sarcasm as I can muster if he goes for the Block O Hat tomorrow, but I think he is a Troy boy unfortunately.

Before all of this.....when Walker was in grade school, I wanted OSU to recruit a new offensive line.........philosophy.

On a side note. You can say all the bad things you want to about Orgeron, but you can't deny that the man sure can recruit.

Good luck to Walker whatever he decides. I can't blame a kid if he chooses the sunny beaches of So Cal.

In that case, I think Mother Nature is causing this snow storm to delay Walker's decision until he reconsiders his choice..

Life's good with nature on your side.

USC is not on the beach, next to the beach or within walking distance to the beach.

USC is not prime real estate, location, etc. It's not the hood, hood, but it aint pretty. Campus is nice, but so are a hundred other universities.

Mr. Walker needs to make the decision that he feels is best, geo-specificity should come second to the heart.

Some people value location more than others. As someone who likes to climb mountains I can tell you that I hate that fact that work has me in the Midwest right now. Sometimes location IS what is in the heart. No, USC isn't next to the beach but I'd love to live in Denver even though I'd have to drive a bit to actually get to the mountains.

If I put myself in Mr. Walker's shoes and I have an opportunity to be in SoCal... I am taking it. I could be in the Sierra's one weekend and surfing the next. I wouldn't have to think twice about it.

That being said, I still hope he chooses :osu: tomorrow.

At Ohio State, 'Dre could be in the National Championship one year, the Rose Bowl the next year, and the Fiesta the year after. :wink2:

Still going with the Buckeyes on this one.

Completely agree, but being an adult with responsibilities and having a mentor guide you through becoming more than just a football player is what sticks out to me(awe of lifestyle/location aside).

The differences are glaring to me, but I have the good fortune of life experiences.

Either way, all the best big man.

You are correct, sir. There is the football quotient that I don't have to address in my choices.

If it is all about the championships then OSU is probably the better place right now. However, that chance may only be 15% in the next 4 years. Let's say USC has a 2% chance to win the title due to the impact of sanctions. Maybe Aundrey's desire to be in a particular place (or his comfort level with the program) is enough to make up for that differential in BCSNC percentages.

I hope you are correct in the end. Go Bucks!

I live in Humboldt County up in Northern CA. It doesn't get much better than where I live. Ocean on one side and the beautiful redwood forest on the other. I understand location.

I've also lived in So Cal for many years. LA in particular has it's good points for sure but it also has smog, graffiti, outrageous traffic jams, high crime, the list goes on and on. It's not all that if you ask me.

If it comes down to location and family I have a feeling Walker chooses family. JMO

I don't have a billion, but I'd like to make an "all in" bet with you on this. I'm betting Aundrey to U and you are betting OSU????

Put your money where your mouth is.

You have 103 vCash to my billion, and you're calling me out? Tell you what, when he commits to OSU tomorrow, I'll cite the source of my extreme confidence and I can ban you for six months...how's that? If he should commit to USC instead, you can have a 100 million vCash of mine (an admin can make that happen). Deal? You have to agree for this to happen.

Put your site access where your mouth is.
