B1G CCG: THE Ohio State University vs NW’ern: Sat, Dec. 19 in Indianapolis, Noon on Fox

Are they not all back?

According to Big 10 rules they’re not eligible to play until 21 days after testing positive. Unless they change the rule about 21 days, we are still likely without them.

Our outbreak started 11/29 (Sunday after our 11/28 game).

Those players would be eligible for CFP. To my knowledge, none of the players who missed MSU game, are available for Northwestern.

That's wrong. Cause some were mentioned to be out for contact tracing. 21 days doesn't apply to contract tracing due to no risk for mydocartis if you never had the virus. So in short we don't know cause we have no idea who was positive and who was just near someone who was positive but never came down with the virus.

No the outbreak started after the Indiana game which was the 21st. I think that Tuesday we started having issues.

So the kids out for MSU would be eligible to come back this week for this game.

The offensive line should be restored to full health, Borland would be back, and same for Proctor.

It’s 2020 and time has no meaning anymore but has the 21 days not already passed? Going backwards in time,

12/12 -players would have missed the Game
12/05 - players did miss Sparty game
11/28 -players would have missed Illinois
11/21 - full availability for Hoosiers

Enough players were out to cause the Illinois game to be canceled. Those who tested positve before that game as well as those out via contact tracing for Sparty are good this weekend. Any players initially positive day of or shortly after Illinois are out but back for CFP. And any ‘new’ positives are out tomorrow and for CFP semis barring a rule change.

I think?

I think that I am going to beer myself.
Just finished ALL of the Christmas stuff, down to the last "t" and "i." Have four beers in the icebox (I'm an old guy and that's what my Mom still calls it.). Kroger is great in letting us choose six different, cold beers and trying them that way, rather than buying a six of each and not liking the first one.
Tip one for the Bucks.
Tip one for Kroger.
Tip one for everyone at Buckeye Planet.
Tip one for ........well, I am sure that with the wisdom of three beers, I'll think of something.

Peace to all.

Does 21 days apply to CFP, since that is not a B1G competition? Wouldn't COVID related eligibility be determined by the CFP people?
