BCS predictions/discussion/Knock Em' Off

Without the polls, computers, or tellshow being updated, I'm guessing the top of the BCS will look somthing like this tomorrow:

1. Mizzou
2. West Va.
3. tOSU
4. Georgia
5. LSU (still alive if Mizzou and W. Va lose)
6. Va Tech (anybody here or lower has no chance at the title game)
7. USC
8. Oklahoma
9. Kansas
10. Florida
11. Arizona State
12. Boston College
13. Hawaii
14. Tennessee
15. Illinois
16. Oregon

WHEN oklahoma wins be prepared for a huge amount of critisim from all the media folks thats for sure. I'm going to be irritated, I'm goin to want to yell out, but I hope they do a number on us I REALLY hope they lay into our bucks and tell us how our defense won't catch WVU, and how our 50 day lay off will hurt our offense. Because give this team one more reason to stick it to WVU and we could make a statement on Jan. 8th.
I think Tressel and the coaches will have learned from last years layoff, and I know the players will have learned from how to conduct themselves so I have no doubt we will come ready to play. BOOMER SOONER!

I'm hoping for a Oklahoma win because frankly I don't want to play USC. I would much rather face WVU because their defense (3-3-5) is not geared to stop a 240 pound running back. USC's defensive front 7 is nasty and I think we would struggle with them. Either way I'm happy we're BCS bound but I want that NC, and I want to shut the media up.

GO BUCKS! (go sooners!!!)

Having all the human votes spread fairly equally among the 3 1 loss teams tommorrow is going to make for one tight ass BCS poll imo.

Not disagreeing, but I'm having a little trouble visualizing that statement. WVU just won impressively in the eyes of the voters, and Mizzo just knocked off the only undefeated team left in the nation.

They'll be ahead of us but the raw number of votes will be relativly close and that affects the BCS points. We'll be third but I'm guessing its going to be very close.

Hawaii is still undefeated, but they are not really a big deal, after all they play in the WAC and they are not in National Championship contention. But, I hope we get stuck playing WVU. I want to prove all spectators wrong that think we will not be able to stop the West Virginia offense since we couldn't stop Juice Williams and Illinois. That would be a great game.

The OU fans I know like the fact that Missou won because they've beat them once. I watched the Okie State, Sooner game with a bunch of them today and much of the MU/ KU contest as well. Bradford looked well and so does Patrick and Brown, Halzle also looked good in limited action. Of course by the 4th quarter in Lubbock Halzle was playing pretty well; too little too late. OU's secondary can definitely still be had. This game by no means is guaranteed.

I think it will be interesting to see how the votes are distributed. It could go one of 3 ways:
1: nearly even distibution of votes with small differences between 1-2-3. This would put the order in the hands of the computers.
b: a near consensus 1-2-3 order across most ballots, with significant gaps between each team. This would mean the human votes probably pick the team unless one team had real bad computer rankings.
3rd: either a consensus 1 with 2/3 a toss up or a 1/2 toss up with 3rd significatly back. if the former see 1, if the later see b.

I think we'll see b at least for this week. The Mizzou love will be through the roof and WVU did just blast a ranked 2 loss team.

Just remember, the Mizzou-Oklahoma game was close earlier this year, and it will be so again. You really think Mizzou wont be fired up when they have a chance to do something that they have never done and go to the BCS National Championship Game? I think your dead wrong.

I really love Schlabach right now. Hopefully more people can jump on that bandwagon. As if we were going to come out flat under ANY circumstance after last year's debacle, 50 days of hearing how we are the worst college football team ever will certainly help.

The best part is if we beat WVU, then we get to hear 8 months of WVU wasn't that good and OSU wasn't the best team in the country. Talk about a perpetual cycle of motivation .
