my personal favorite was the roy hall's hit on the punt team guy from SDSU in 05. that guy never saw it coming and he was out like a light for a couple seconds before needing assistance off the field because he couldn't walk straight.

Hits that Guys on the Bucks made in college.

These top my list

1) Tito Paul on that kick returner from Michigan St.
2) Andy Katzenmoyer on QB Corby Jones of Missouri
3) Zach Dumas on that receiver or back from I believe Auburn in the Citrus Bowl (Took place out in the flat)

I'm sure Tatum had some monsters back in the day but those are the first that come to the top of my head.

Brian Hartline had a pretty good hit on someone on kick coverage. It got some people on here thinking he should be moved to safety, or something. Crazy.

I remember a hit a while ago. It must have been 1990. I don't remember the opponent, but Steve Tovar got about a 15-yard running start at a hit on the opposing quarterback. The quarterback was just standing there, with awesome protection. But he couldn't find anyone open. So, finally, after about 12 minutes of game time, Tovar decided that he would go get the quarterback. The quarterback had to see him. I thought he would scramble or throw or something. He just stood there. And then he was dead, I think.

Kurt Kittner, maybe?

Yes, it was Kittner and Doss absolutely bounced his head off the turf. It did look like he killed him and I loved it. Also worth noting, it was at something like the 3 yard line. Red zone punishment.

Tito Paul's murdering that MSU punt returner is the other one that truly stands out in my book. That hit was on a Big10 promo commercial for 2 years afterwards I believe.

Living out here in Kansas this is the only OSU football game I've actually been able to attend. I was between the 35-40 yard line, 20 or so rows up and this monster hit happened right in front of me. I swear I heard it over the crowd noise. The film doesn't do it justice.

I don't think it ended up counting cause of a false start or something, but Katz in the Rose Bowl blowing up the fullback into the tailback was one I always liked. Winfield put some good licks on people in his time as well.

Jack Tatum on anyone ask Darrel Stingley. Tatum was the man responsible for the NFL outlawing elbows to the head. His nickname was "the assasin".
That was also the name of his book. "they call me assasin".

Good read
