Best pizza in columbus?

I wouldn't say it's disgusting, but I would never get it if not for the deal. Have you ever had it outside of the Crackron area? Maybe it is better in Cbus.

I haven't lived in Crackron since September, so it was the Campus location. We ordered 2 pizzas from there and one from Hound Dogs one night. Perhaps it was an unfair comparison since we had some of the best pizza around at the same time.

I haven't found a great pizza place in Columbus yet--I'm still looking for that one phenomenal place. King's (on Smith Place) isn't bad, and it's a place I imagine many people haven't tried. Tommy's is overrated IMO. Grandad's (at W. 3rd and Northwest Blvd.) is one of the worst pizza places at which I've ever eaten.

tommy's and grandad's must have gone downhill the last few years because i remember their pizzas being really good. i used to order from grandad's all the time (i lived in the 'view). my favorite pizza was from figlio. that's biased of me to say; i worked there. nonetheless, their pizza is exceptional, and their pasta is the best in columbus.

their waitresses are great, too.

Sprano's in San Margherita is damned good. They burned one on us the other day and still sold it to us. I had to go back. They made us a fresh one right away for free, so they took care of us.

Over all they have damned good pizza.

yeah, rotolo's is in grandview, but it's on fifth a little bit closer to marble cliff. i had pizza there a couple times. it was good, but i wasn't terribly impressed. i've heard from many, though, that it's great pizza, so perhaps i just caught them when they were off.

Whenever I am traveling, I always check out www.roadfood.com. You can interact with people there all over the US and Canada, by city or cuisine. Great place to plan for excellent meals on the road without being disappointed or surprised.

If'n you guys ever get to 'Lanna, check out Laura's Pizza on Holcomb Bridge Road, East 2 blocks off GA 400. Get the Chicago style deep dish. Too awesome.

Buckguy--you seem to know Grandview pretty well. Have you ever tried that place (I think the name might be Panzera's, but I could be wrong) that is on Grandview Ave. right across the street from Domino's?
oh, sure. that's right across the street from figlio. i've had their pizza couple times. it's been a few years, so i can't recall just how good it was. really, though, if you're looking for more of a specialty pie, you should try figlio. you can still get the standard pizza or make your own, but they have some really good signature pizzas. as i mentioned before, the waitresses are darn cute, too. at least they were when i worked there. in fact, the owner would place ads in the lantern for "smart, hardworking, and attractive waitresses." the ads worked. for a while, i dated a girl who worked with me. this girl was sweet, and she looked like sex. you know the type? some girls just look like sex.

where was i?
