Big 10 Basketball 2009-2010

That makes up for both the Michigan schools losing today. OK, I enjoyed scUM losing but MSU losing to unranked, rebuilding Florida... :shake:

Congrats on your club's nice win Gator... that'll be a great building block for the young team.

They beat the hell out of FSU the other night as well which might look pretty good by the end of the year.

late B10 action, Illinois is up 32-16 at the half on Utah and Minny is losing by 10 late to Portland.

EDIT
Minny can't shoot for shit and loses to Portland

3 ranked B10 teams lose

NU upsets #23 ND

Illinois still leads comfortably with about 15 to go

Thanks man. I can't see a Sparty uniform without seeing Mateen Cleaves just killing us. Good win for the youngsters. Stats in that game are unreal. You'd never guess we could have won.

John Beilein. :slappy: Soft, soft, soft team. Predictable.

Bill Martin, we love you!

Talk about overrated, UM should've lost to a bad Creighton team on Thanksgiving Day. Not to outdo themselves, the promptly got housed by an unranked Marquette team the next day. That team is, at best, a fringe top 25 team. To have them at #15 is a joke.

Illinois lost to Utah on a last-second shot, and then turned around and lost again today to Bradley. Illinois will be unranked ASAP!

Northwestern continued their surprising play sans-Coble, taking the Chicago Invitational title by beating Iowa State today. So I guess since the vaunted John Shurna had big games in leading NU past ND and ISU that he's now in the All-American discussion like Harangody (ND) and Brackins (ISU), right? LOL! I will be very upset if Harangody becomes an All-American over Evan Turner this year. After watching them a couple times, Northwestern actually looks like they're clicking on a lot of cylinders right now, and even with their star gone, I'm expecting NU to go down to NC State and pull out a win for the Big Ten against a bad Wolfpack team.

MSU rebounded from their loss by thrashing UMass 106-68.

scUM will be a dangerous team because when they get hot, they can knock off anybody, but, right now they're not a very good shooting team. Beilein is a solid coach if you're happy getting to 25 wins and getting into the Sweet-16 or Elite-8. No way does a team that relies that heavily on threes have a championship ceiling. Another gimmick coach in Morgantown north.

UM, with losses to Alabama and last night to BC, now stands at 3-3, with all three losses coming to unranked teams. #15 in the preseason poll, indeed.
