Oh c'mon...they are way better without Nebraska, they(Texas) will be rolling in the money.

On a [sarcasm]completely unrelated[/sarcasm] note, if you surround text with tags like these:
{sarcasm} text {/sarcasm}
but replace the {} with [], you get:
[sarcasm]the sarcasm font[/sarcasm]

Who knows; it might come in handy should you ever decide to be sarcastic.

And in today's episode of Aggy Being Aggy we have....

We dodged a bullet with these clowns.
I wonder what many of the posters at Shaggy Bevo mean by "Military School." Technically that's limited to the four academies in that they are fully funded by the government and supervised by commissioned officers and the graduates are required to spend four years on active duty. To the best of my knowledge Citadel, VMI, Va Tech, Clemson and aTm do not fit this definition. They are not fully funded by the government, their administrators are either civilians or retired military (whereas the administrators at the academies are commissioned officers on active duty and assigned to the school(s)) and unless the student signs an ROTC contract he/she is not required to serve upon graduation.

Not that it didn't need more drama, but that Nebraska/Texas game in Lincoln on 10/16 is getting more and more juice by the day. Itwill be especially tough for Nebraska playing against the Burnt Orange and the Texas dominant officiating crew. :box:

I was walkin my dog this morning thinking about who would be worth talking to. I think it would be cool if we added Virginia, Va Tech, Maryland and Notre Dame to go to 16. I like the idea of adding some of those eastern schools as long as their football programs have viable recruiting bases in both basketball and football to compete in the big ten. I think those schools would fit in nicely.

I went to the Nebraska/Va Tech game last year in Blacksburg. Great little city, great campus and great fans, but it isn't very easy to get to. Stadium is pretty small as well. How are their academics?

A lot of good players come out of the Tidewater area as well as the Fork Union acadamy in Virginia. Not sure about the recruiting in Maryland.

The very essence of sarcasm is that is presented as normal speech (or writing), typically, or at least often, with a hint of irony. I do not understand or condone the usage of a sarcasm font, as it essentially destroys the very thing that sarcasm is meant to be.

Just me. :)
