Bret Bielema (HC Illinois)

People will laugh at it and it's whatever, but after getting fucked on replay at Indiana, losing a clear TD which turned out to be the difference, a horse shit PI that took away an interception last week (and there was more than just one that was questionable), Purdue scored the next play which wound up being the difference...and now today...the frustration has finally boiled over. It's been fucking stupid.

That 4th down pick play was so bad it gives legs to people who think it's fixed.

Just hard to believe they miss something that blatant no matter how incompetent they are.
There are a handful of teams in CFB that have a perceptible officiating advantage and ttun is one of them. When scUM took possession for that deciding drive, there was a handful of us in the thread that called them getting a DPI call to bail them out. Easy peasy...it's been their signature play for over two decades. Officials help these weapons-grade plums out all the time.

Good to see ya again, Jax.

Illinois signs Bret Bielema to new 6-year deal through 2028

Illinois coach Bret Bielema, who this season guided the team to its highest wins total since 2007, has agreed to a new contract through the 2028 season.

Bielema, who is 13-11 in his second season at Illinois, will receive an annual salary increase from $4.3 million this season to $6 million in the new agreement, which is pending board approval in January. The new deal includes annual raises and bonuses, including a $500,000 annual retention. Bielema also is eligible for up to four one-year extensions if he meets certain performance benchmarks, not disclosed in Tuesday's announcement.

Bielema initially agreed to a six-year, $26.7 million deal with Illinois in December 2020.
