Of course..There has to be at least 10 arm chair qb's on this site that are better then favre ever was...Aside from all the records or the fact he played 275 consecutive games let's disregard that and have a pizza

Brilliant! Since Favre is better than us, that's great! I guess Akili Smith should also be praised since none of us can do better than him, right?

Jim Marshall played more games consecutive than any other defensive player...does that mean he's greater than Dick Butkus? :roll1:

Driver has spent all nine of his seasons with future Hall of Fame quarterback

Receiver Donald Driver had a selfish reason for wanting Brett Favre to come back for another season.
In his nine-year pro career with the Packers to this point, all with Favre as the starting quarterback, Driver has positioned himself as one of the club's most prolific pass catchers. Driver has 503 receptions to rank third in team annals. He trails No. 2 James Lofton by 27 and leader Sterling Sharpe by 92......

GULFPORT, Miss. (AP)?If the Green Bay Packers are ravaged by injuries this season, Brett Favre might consider returning should the team reach out to him.

?It would be hard to pass up, I guess,? he told the Biloxi (Miss.) Sun Herald. ?But three months from now, say that presents itself, I may say, you know what, I?m so glad I made that decision. I?m feel very comfortable in what I?m doing and my decision.

?Yeah, I can probably be up there doing that and playing, but again, I don?t know. It?s only speculating. I think the world of that team. I had a lot of fun, not only this year, but over my career.?

Contd...

The quarterback again fails to close the door on his playing career

Who knew that Mr. Jeans, T-shirt and Baseball Cap, Brett Favre, owns a sport coat?
If anything surprising came out of Brett Favre?s appearance on the ?Late Show with David Letterman,? it was that.
Because, as has been the case since the day he retired, Favre continues to tease his faithful following while aggravating the you-now-what out of the fans who are ready to move on and are just plain tired of the ordeal....

I really hope he doesn't come back. I love Favre as a player, but he ended his career on a high note with a GREAT season this past one. I don't want him to come back and not produce like he/or the team did
