I have never been the type to believe in any type of curse, hex, voodoo, etc. But after seeing G. Baxter getting hurt with a strained pectoral for four weeks im getting pushed to my final straw about believing that. We have all heard the saying tell it to Cleveland, this implying that Cleveland knows all about losses and heartbreaks. So this made me wonder is it the one team thats cursed or is it the whole city. It seems like no matter what the teams do they are always kicked in the nutts just when their fans hopes are really high. Just to name the most recent.
1. Both Centers from the Browns getting hurt even before the first preseason game. Wouldnt be that bad injuries are normal in NFL...BUT we just singed L. Bentley to a huge contract that made him the highest paid center in the league.
2. Both B. Edwards and KWII Hopefully Edwards is just a minor set back in a great career but Winslow has already made it seem like he has a curse on him by only playing in 2 games by the start of his third year.
3. The whole Cleveland Indians season this year. With such high expectations going into the season I truly dont think there is more of a disappointing team in the MLB.
4. The CAVS playoff run. We were down by 2 games to detroit everyone thought it was over but Lebron gave us home giving us the series lead with three straight wins. Though that was nice it didnt last long as Detroit won the last two games to win the series in dominant form. Seems like they just wanted to get our hopes up once again.
I could go on and on and on and on about all the events that have happened over the years, but my fingers would fall off. I will continue to be a die-hard cleveland sports fan no matter what happens. I was born there raised there and my heart is still there. It just makes me wonder sometimes how one little city on the lake can have so much bad luck.

who dey baby! and what the hell does Browns stand for? i mean oh no im scared of the browns! scary name! AHHH! how you guys gonna do this year? i hope you atleast win 3 games atleast cuz u guys the shit!

I must be in hell! Look, a Bengals fan trying to talk shit! On top of that he sounds like he's only 8 years old!

I mean come on dude. The Bengals absolutely sucked for how many straight years? Then last year they go 11-5 and finally make the playoffs again and now it's shit talking time? Please stop. The Steelers fans are gonna start laughing at you! That is if they haven't already started.

Yeah congratulations. The Bengals won a division title and got bounced out of the playoffs before they even realized they were there. Yippee! But guess what everyone calls the team that finished 2nd in the division right behind your boys.

We call that team the reigning Super Bowl Champions!

With the parity in the NFL it is a very short climb from 6-10 to 10-6. Likewise it is a short drop from 11-5 to 5-11. A couple of injuries to the wrong people and even the Super Bowl Champion Steelers would be in danger of missing the playoffs.

I don't believe the Browns are cursed. Injuries are apart of the game. What are the odds that an NFL player will play an entire 10 year career and never spend any time on the injured list. Probably about the same odds as winning the lottery.

Every team has to deal with injuries. The good teams do. You have to have depth. Depth is built on draft day. Draft day wasn't kind to the Browns under Davis and Palmer. Because of this the Browns have suspect depth. Maybe Savage can change that. If he doesn't the Browns won't get any better.

As for any Bengals fans out there, try to refrain from displaying excessive amounts of giddiness regarding the Bengals just yet. Save it for if and when the Bengals actually develop a track record of winning. In the real world where I live, the Bengals aren't quite there yet!

But they do seem to be closer to it than the Browns are. How much closer we shall soon see.

 at everybody trying to turn around the Browns suckiness on the Raiders.

Oh no, somebody said my team sucks, I better bash their team because I can't handle it!

Maybe you better worry more about how your team sucks, how your owner is senile, and how your best player takes plays off.

You'll note I haven't responded to the Bengals' fan. Why? Because they kind of have a little bit of a right to talk shit right now. Real Bengals' fan at least.

who made it to the playoffs last year? and who didnt?

The Browns have won a postseason game more recently than the Bengals. And in the time between that Browns postseason win and the Bengals finally making the playoffs, the Browns were taken away, existed in name only for a few years, reincarnated, had all the bad luck and bad moves in the world, and STILL managed to accidentally stumble back to the postseason, all while the Bengals continued to suck. If the Browns could make it to the playoffs with Butch Davis at the helm and a bunch of college football backups, what the hell is so special about what the Bengals did last year?
