They're high school seniors who will be playing football for OSU in the fall. Granted, they have probably all officially graduated by now, as most schools are out for summer, but they just had the State championships this past weekend. It's the same situation for anyone going to college to play baseball.

Jeff See, by the way, ran a 4:06 mile earlier in the year. This is the fastest time in the nation by a high schooler this year. He "only" ran 4:11 this past weekend. He followed that up with a 1:51 winning 800 time, which was 2 seconds slower than the time he ran in the 4*800 relay team the day before! Not a bad weekend at all... Within the next 2 weeks, he should be going for the hallowed 4:00 mile mark at nationals.

(If someone wants, they can split this into the "Jeff See" thread, since I don't see him suiting up for the football team in the fall...)
