Wow! Just got a pm from the artist- we're not even close! I won't disclose what he told me out of respect for him and his work, but the estimated hours (among the guesses) on this project are dismal compared to the actual figures.

a detailed painting that is 2 feet by 4 feet could go for 2K. I'm guessing something this specialized and detailed is 40-50K, quite possibly more.

The photo he posted gives a much better sense of how detailed and life like the mural is, versus the YouTube.

I'm guessing it was two or three months of work and cost around $30-40k.

Just a guess though... :p

Just a guess? I have/had no clue. Art wasn't my major; it took me about 2 hours to paint my basement so it turned out that's about 250 times more difficult instead of 40. :)

Odell 51 brings us this extremely beautiful piece of art constructed by an Ohio State fan, who like Dali or Velasquez appears in the lower right hand corner of his painting. Look at those eyes?just try and deny his passion, reader.

OSU Room

Should have posted these a long time ago. This was my Christmas present from my wife. We repainted the office in our house and added all the other stuff. It has been like this since December but as some of you may remember we are getting ready to move to the Dayton area so I only get to enjoy this a little while longer. It was going to be a work in progress for a while but with the move that obviously changes things. So if you know anybody looking for an already painted Scarlet and Grey room in the Ravenna area send them my way Admins if this is the wrong spot I am sorry and please move it to a better spot.

Very cool room man. I did the same colors and wall decor in my game room. Was going to put it in my office, but went with an Air Force theme instead.
