Mods and admins, are you getting emailed or PM'd when someone reports a post? If emailed, would you prefer PM? I think I would, but want to see what's what.
PCP guys (not that there are any), are you getting PM'd or emailed (or neither) when someone wants to join (not that they can)?
Is there behavior (anyone) around the site that is annoying for anyone? Is anyone still getting a blank page sometimes when they load the front page? One or two were, but it *should* be fixed now.
Thump, you had a number of issues, any resolved? If not, which are still outstanding issues?
The site logouts/mozilla crashes -- have they happened at all in the last day or two for anyone (since the 3.5.1 upgrade)?
HAYN, I still have to take a look at the galleries, but I think we're going to do you one better and set something unique up for your (and any other photogs - JWins?) purposes during the offseason so it's ready to go by next fall. Either way, post in this thread when you see it, and let me know what would most suit your needs.
Dead links in the navbar are a headache, but I just haven't been able to get to them yet. Much of that will be auto-populated by the content management system/stats engine -- but for now, it would be nice if there were something there. If someone want's to throw together some HTML that fits the aesthetic of the site, we can toss it online and make those links work. Purely volunteer-type stuff, but something that will get you extra greenies.
Quizzes -- would be nice to have more of them. Users can submit quizzes, have at it. Going to be making a new navbar category (probably called 'Games' or 'Fun') where I will put the Book, Quiz, Arcade, and when it returns, Pick'em. So if you see those first three links mentioned disappear, that's why.
Forums/forum layout/forum heirarchy -- there was some talk a while back about moving some forums around. Giving us a layout that would be more logical for our current size and traffic than this one is. Where there any conclusions there?
Basketball 'blog'/child site. vrbryant may or may not be putting something together on this front. Part of and hosted by BP, but its own entity. I think we all agree that more can and should be done with basketball, particularly given the meteoric rise in general interest that this season and next promise to provoke. I would like to see BP do something, even if just for one home game, that helps fill the stands better. I don't know what that is, but if you all have ideas, I'm listening.
The site *might* be down for an hour or two tomorrow. I have someone willing to do some database work. If we get done what we need to, medals and awards should be back online tomorrow with a much nicer and feature-rich interface.
That's all I've got for the moment -- do let me know if there's some quirk or bug somewhere that still pesters you. Slowly working out the new ones created by the recent 3.5.0rc3-3.5.1 move.
