I haven't seen anything about that specifically, but I think the trade-ins count as credit for you, and so it would work the same way when you purchase something with it. :)

OK, I just passed the link from Deety's first post in this thread onto my wife, so she can get to Amazon without going through BP first, but BP gets the credit for redirecting her.

It's both a good thing, and somewhat frightening.

Anyone out there with a lot of coins like me, the coinstar machines in grocery stores will give you 100% credit if you apply it to an amazon, itunes, lowes gift card.


Right now they added a bonus until the new year. deposit forty dollars in coins towards a gift card get a $10 gift card by mail. One bonus gift card per house.

Technically you could get 4 ten dollar rolls of quarters at the bank and get ten bucks towards a ab amazon purchase, but I am just glad to avoid wrapping coins.

I did that last year. Walked into Kroger with 4 rolls of quarters, left with a gift card, and got 10 bucks in the mail a few weeks later.
