Agreed. My two LCD's are Samsung. 32" and 46". I've had the 32" for about 4 years now. And the 46" for about a year. I haven't had one problem with them.

And boy do I love my 46" wall mounted....mmmmm mmm

I always liked Samsung.

I am not sure that this is still a problem, but there is a known problem with a huge percentage of Samsung LCDs where the power supply screws up, inevitably just after the one year warranty. The capacitors blow out and it just "ticks" instead of turning on. Mine is doing this now. They actually sell kits to fix it on Amazon and there are youtube videos on how to do it. I have to do this. Ugh. I'd beware.

Not sure if that's just for the bigger sets, but I've owned my 32" for about 3 years now, no problems...

(of course, I say this, and something will inevitably happen...)

$200 - 32" inch Haier 720p TV

the above isn't an Amazon link, so after adding it to your cart make sure to come back to BP and click on a banner before checking out.

don't get this if you will use it as a monitor, in that case you will want 1080p. but for strictly watching TV, 32 is too small to notice the difference between 1080p and 720p unless you are super close to it.

I know this is smaller than 27 wanted, but I figured others might be interested.

some positive feedback from SlickDeals from owners who bought one a few years ago.

likewise, consistently poor reviews from slickdealers about westinghouse
