Can we fire this woman already?

To the original poster-send a copy of this BS, or an account of the conversation to the Dispatch or the Dayton Daily News. The only time people like Holbrook consider their actions is when the media is focused on them, and the alumni get the word out. 4,000 subscribers at BP isn't enough. I miss having E.G.G. as prez.....

Other things for her to consider:
Remove "Tangy" from Olentangy
Remove all reference to "Woody"
Remove reference to Silver "Bullets" (again)
Rename sport of foot"ball"
Rename "Tight End"
Rename "Wide Receiver"
Prohibit the use of the phrase "Good Penetration in the Backfield"

This is so preposterous that I even have a hard time believing the story (no offense, crazykiller).
I understand the few of you who were concerned about second hand stories, and I agree. I probably wouldn't of believed it if I hadnt heard it from who I heard it from; a die hard alumni band member who has very close personal ties with Dr. Woods and works for the university (he still attends the band practices as well.)

The thing I found most interesting was that I had not heard of it until now. I would surmise that this is due to two facts : 1) It was not a full band practice, only the officers and leaders, and 2) that Dr. Woods is a stand up act. Most likely, he probably doesn't want to cause a ruckus if he believes he has a handle on the situation. It's most likely a good sign we haven't heard anything, because that means things are in check and all is well in band land.

I doubt even K-HO has the pull to make this happen -- I guarantee she'd be ousted if she pulled it off and it would be reverted to its original form. But, the main reason for my post was to once again bring her audacity to the front line and her loyalities to question. How does this out-of-state broad who has -no- heart-felt connection to this great University DARE try to pull stuff like this off. I can't believe she has the gall to let it cross her mind. I was ready to burn her in effigy when she tampered with tailgating, I don't know what I'd do if she screwed with the team orthe band.

If true, this is just another example of how Ohio State is not a place for a university president to cut his/her teeth. Why we hired someone without presidential experience at another large university is beyond me.....especially after the search committee had commented that they would not hire anyone from within because they needed a person with "presidential" experience.

Her administration is a disaster. A sad, sad time for our beloved university.

No seriously, I am happy to see that others are finally at the end of their rope when it comes to this women. We have been bitching about her for a few years now and it's good to see others on our side.

Restore Tradition!

ps. Martinss01, I can make that shirt if you want it no problem

Believe the story or not, thats not the major point here.

The MAJOR point, is that she has been here since 2002 and has already developed a track record of trying to screw the students and University over. I cannot fathom it. I am a current student at tOSU as well as holding two University positions. I constantly see K-HO shuffling about her day, shaking hands and giving big cheese smiles. It honestly sickens me. I got a chance to talk to her at an Awards Banquet in the spring of 03. She seemed shocked when I let her know exactly what I thought about the University's lack of action on the Student Body's behalf to the Statehouse to combat/protest rising tuition costs.

She's already instituted her share of ruins and as aforementioned her administration is a disaster. The only students who like her are those who are absolutely CLUELESS to whats going on, a few Student Government suckups, and, well, that's all.. What more has to happen before the students and alumni decide enough is enough? I feel like this is a female version of the Cooper Saga.
