I can't disagree with that, but my problem here is it kind of looks like they are taking the easy way out. Also, this isn't a 2nd round pick. They are trading away the unknown for a guy which they know is OK. While that removes the chance they will pick a bust, it also removes the possibility of drafting a star. Although it's still possible this guy will develop into a big-time player I don't think it's likely. I would prefer it if the team had confidence that they would pick a player that would "blow up". The good thing is we will have his services for two years before the 07' draft.
