Why not? He is a pretty good defender and Pietrus could get a stupid foul, he is more prone to biting on the fakes and leaving his feet.

That's exactly right. Pietrus' basketball IQ is probably lower than mine. Turkoglu is a good defender, and that was actually decent defense played on that last shot...but as George Gervin said, "Great offense beats great defense".

I was at the game... unbelievable. Some people started leaving after Turkoglu's shot which was shocking but the place was so unbelievably loud after LeBron's shot and then Mo yelled into the microphone during his interview and my ears almost exploded. I have no words to describe that couple of minutes after the shot.

I just got back from the game an hour ago, pisser is I gotta work at 9:00am tomorrow (today) and "sleep" doesn't seem to be in the plans even at this late hour.

What an event. I'm 46 and can't remember a more "defining" moment in Cleveland Sports history. I'm just glad as hell that my 12 year old son got to enjoy this one with me. This game will be talked about for the next 40 years by the 75,000 fans who were at the game, who ironically were the same 75,000 that were at Len Barker's perfect game.

Wonder if you got a chance to meet Jim Chones and his wife and daughters (Kareeda and Kaayla) on the concourse at their Breat Cancer fundraiser. What a great and gracious guy is Jim as are his wife and daughters. A $5.00 donation for autographs and pictures with Jim Chones? I agree with my kid who said it was $$ well-spent!

One last observation besides the obvious. Mo Williams is having an absolutely atrocious series shootin-wise. But, he hit a few HUGE shots down the stretch, and although playing a ton of minutes, this kid busts his ASS every second he is out there. He's constant motion and as gutty as anyone in the game. I hope he finds his "stroke" in Orlando, because we need him. And although the "shot" was the highlight, Mo executed the play to perfection to get the ball to LeBron in the first place.

Peace.

lol, still drunk at the time of posting I assume :P

While I do think we will still pull this series out, no way we take it in 5. Going at least 6, but my guess is 7.

Unless of course Mo and Delonte find their shot somewhere between Cleveland and Orlando.
