Seriously congrats on that title......your window has now closed. Time to rebuild again. Enjoy 2008 for what it was. A small window they capitalized on.

As long as Danny Ferry can convince LBJ to stay, that one 2008 banner you're pimping, should be 5 or 6 deep in Cleveland since a team has been built for the future.

First of all I gotta give credit to the Magic for winning Game 7 on the road. From the start of this series I was rooting for them, but I didn't think they'd win it if it went to a seventh game. Props to them for pulling it out.

I don't think the Magic are as big a matchup problem for the Cavs as some think. At the 1, 2 & 3 the Cavs have more consistent players than the Celtics did. Their best player - Paul Pierce - would disappear for entire games at a time. I can't see LeBron doing that.

At the 4 & 5 the Cavs have superior depth. They have four veteran bigs that can go in there and defend and give fouls. Plus Darnell Jackson can come in for some fouls. The Cavs also have bigs that can play away from the basket on offense and make shots, which can help reduce (but not eliminate) Howard's defensive presence. Big Baby did a nice job for the Celtics, but he can't shoot like Z or Smith for the Cavs.

I think the Cavs can take the conference finals in six games. I think the Cavs are the superior team. Orlando can be virtually unstoppable if they're making threes all night. There's not much you can do about that and I think that'll carry them to a couple wins.

I'm a little disappointed that the first game of the conference finals is on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. That's giving Orlando an extra day of rest - I think a team that takes care of business deserves the rest while a team that takes seven games to complete their series should have to face the disadvantage of a quick turnaround.

The gang on TNT are saying alot of stuff about the Magic being a better team than the Cavs.

The Magic did take 2 of 3 in the regular season. One of those losses by the Cavs though came when Orlando still had Nelson, while the Cavs were playing without West and Ilgauskas. You might as well throw that game out the window now.

The other Orlando win happened late, with the two teams at their current strength for the most part (the Cavs were without Ben Wallace but he wouldn't have mattered much). The Magic shot 53% and 48% from three - and I think they're dangerous enough to get a couple wins that same way against the Cavs. I don't think they can do it four times though.

 Well, good thing there are 16 other title banners hanging in the garden.

fair enough. I'm looking towards the future. If I'm a Boston fan, I'm not looking forward to the upcoming rebuild. They'll likely try to run with the same core again next year, but the injuries will continue to pile. They're just getting old and teams are just better.

Me. That's why I was rooting so damn hard for Boston. It figures that the only time I've ever rooted for a Boston team they would blow it :(.

I too began to root for them after I thought about the troubles Orlando would bring. I hate Pierce, but I would've rather seen him take one game from us then Howard and the Magic 2, maybe even the series. Hedo is the only player I can stand in a Magic uniform.

My favorite part about Boston-
Stole LeBrons title last year
Stole the Indians Title I think 2 years ago
My Panthers.. .. .......
Can't do one thing to help any of my teams.
