Listening to the draft show, my take-away for our second round pick is that he has a great personality.

I think we've had a pretty good first two days. Mims could be a star and has a year before he needs to start (hopefully). Jenkins, as much as us Buckeye fans would hate to say, is an elite run stopper at DT and we really needed that after last season...we have others that can be more pass-rush DTs. Burton at WR is an absolute stud and could fill the Boyd void, zero drops last season and he has real speed to get vertical...Jones is obviously going to fight for that spot though. Jackson at DT is interesting, physical specimen and big dude to try and replace Reader.
Overall, we are picking the right positions of need without reaching. I like it so far. Plus we just picked up Erick All, TE from Iowa who I think can be really good...we needed someone there as well and another position of need pickup.

Take it back on drafting All...Stover was available. Wtf. CJ reunited with Cade. Texans are going to be really tough to beat.

I’d grade the draft in the B-/C range. They redeemed the All pick with the Mclachlan pick. Don’t really think they got any defensive players that will make much of an impact on Day 3. The CB probably has the best potential in that regard. I like the C they took in the 7th round. A little undersized, but a 4 year starter (3 at UCF and 1 at Miami). But I really like what the Bengals did on Day 1 and 2. Think Jenkins and Mims can contribute right away if called upon (Jenkins will almost certainly see the field early), and think Jackson and Burton could also be early contributors as well.

Pretty much agree with all of this, so not much to add. Echo the though that Jenkins is going to need to contribute in a big way early on, and I think he is built for it. Mims we don't need right away, so hopefully we stay healthy so he is not forced into action. Jackson seems like a good pick to load up on the interior DL.
Only part I am not thrilled on is taking 2 TEs. Just draft Stover in the 4th and you don't need to worry about the position, it was a miracle he was available there and we passed. Really like All's upside and it isn't a bad pick if Stover wasn't there...but he was, and ergo not a great pick. The rest of the picks I cannot make an intelligent remark on, so we will see how those work out.

I'm happy where he's at."On Nov. 27, Dr. Thomas Graham repaired the scapholunate ligament in Burrow's right wrist, a source confirmed to ESPN following an initial report by the Cincinnati Enquirer. In March, Burrow told ESPN that he expected to be fully cleared following his surgery. He noted that the timetable for his return, if he remained on track, was no different than other offseasons.
"In a normal offseason, I wouldn't be throwing until OTAs really anyway," Burrow said. "I can lift basically normal now, which I'm excited about."
