I find it amusing that pundits think this ownership group is tanking. They aren't competent enough to be this good at something if they were intentionally tanking.
I firmly believe they thought this was a "good enough" team while they cleared some payroll and developed some more young guys.
They aren't tanking, they are actually trying.
That is the best part of all this so far imo.
