Cleveland Browns (2012 season)

Honestly, the Miller selection might just be my favorite pick of the draft thus far. Great value at the 5th round. Excellent lineman in college that's played both guard and tackle. We need more competition at the guard spots and he seems like a viable swing guy as many project that he could become a right tackle in a couple years. I think the Browns have had a productive last day thus far. Really like the last two selections.

Ryan Miller

Projected as possible early second rounder or possibly even late first-round.

There will be discussions about moving Miller outside to tackle from guard: This debate revolves around Miller's size, much like last year's first round-pick at OT, Nate Solder. Given Miller's solid athletic ability and size, a move to the outside seems imminent. Miller would need to learn the position after spending the past two years inside, but he could transition well with his talent and versatility. Miller could go as early as the late first round, but most likely will settle in nicely in the second round.

Yup, finally getting some road grader or should I say hog depth:)

I'm doing my best to look at the bright side in all of this. They need road graders on the right side of the line. Open some holes for Richardson and force teams to put 8-9 guys in the box to stop him. Add in a QB that can throw further than 20 yards and the offense should be much improved.

+1. Wtf Browns?

I want offensive players from here on out, you cant win when you average as few points a game as this organization has since they returned in '99........................

Probably not going to happen. You also don't win with 7th round compensatory picks, so it doesn't really matter. These guys will have a hard time making the team, let alone making any sort of impact.

I'd like a DB and maybe another OG. I don't think you are going to find many quality skill players in the 7th. I'd love Brewster to be backup C and/or OG.

just checking back in. yup still the same old clowns.

Can we start the 2013 draft thread now. I say we take Barkley trade up to get a another qb in the end of the 1st. Nard Dog ??????

This is where they may have screwed themselves.

I don't see this team winning more than 2 games this season. If they have the top pick would they spend it on Barkley after drafting Weeden?

Ugh. It's tough rooting for this team.

I agree with the above poster, it's almost like Holmgren and Heckert are giving a big middle finger to the fans with a draft like this and the total lack of activity in free agency.
