Some good moves today.

Taylor, while not somebody you'd build around, is very good bridge qb and adds another dimension to the offense with his legs. Landry is an excellent complement to Gordon and Njoku. Draft a good rb and suddenly you have the makings of a competent offense, something statistically this clown show has had twice in nineteen seasons.

Given the loooong history of fuckery associated with this shit show, I'm not buying in yet, but they made some *gulp* smart moves today. Now draft Rosen, go BPA at 4, don't cleveland up the draft and they might be onto something...
My god, just do what you typed in the end. That's it. Don't overthink it. It's right there. So close.

Right now, they're in the best position possible to do right by Cleveland and start building a winner. I fully expect them to fuck up the draft, Taylor to rupture his achilles in OTAs, Landry to crash a motorcycle into a mcdonalds drive-thru while texting a crack dealer and Garrett to have his leg bitten off my an alligator in Lake Erie.

Well they aren’t standing pat, I’ll give them that. I like Landry, not sold on Taylor but they could have done worse. Corner could help. Kizer was useless here. Take D’Umbass or Rosen and then Fitzpatrick.

Don’t forget the new corner will run into McCourty during a drill, both resulting in concussions and the nocosomial staph infections.

There should be a good RB in the 2nd to fill that out. Also a RT/replacement for JT in the top of the 2nd. Seems like they could have signed McCarron without having to give anything up, but maybe they figured he wouldn't be worth the price compared to Taylor.

Either way guarantee whatever QB they take will be the only turd of the bunch.

Taylor is better and cheaper than mccarron. Sold... Isn't what you need to be. It's more like, is this way better? And now what? I think the Barkley/Allen prediction is probably right as of now. I don't like it but I understand it if it goes that way.

I agree, but I really see Barkley and Mayfield. The hype is too large

I like Michel from UGA, but there are a couple of other decent players too and they don’t run it enough to justify the selection of Barkley anyway (and they need to get Duke regular work)

Yeah maybe. Maybe darnold. It's my right now feeling. Was Mayfield last week .could change back.
Now that I think about it, I think Allen is a real possibility. They won’t hedge with Taylor, he will come in as the starter all year. I don’t think anyone takes Allen to start in year 1.
