I think they are holding onto Vernon and trying to see if they can pick someone up in free agency and then cut Vernon loose. If they cannot find anyone in FA, they probably will hold onto him but I do not think that is a good idea.

I was going to ask about Seals-Jones, but I checked and his contract ran out on my fantasy team so what happens to him matters less. I guess a team that uses 2 TE's most of the time probably needs to carry 4 TE's on the roster. I guess the good thing about Seals-Jones is he could fill in as a big WR if they carried fewer on the roster.

Hooper’s 80.5 offensive grade ranked 7th among qualifying TEs in 2019. He had just two drops in 93 total targets.
