Thought I read months back that if it was more than 8 games.. Browns 5 yr contract starts next yr as year one.. silver lining?

This is the guy the Clowns mortgaged their future on. By the time he returns it will be damn near 2 calendar years since he's played. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Once this fully blows up in their face they need to just relocate the franchise. It's a blight on the city.

I've read elsewhere that the contract would have counted had he been on the active roster for even just one game this season, so who knows.

I didn't get to see yesterdays game... but sounds like Schwartz is done... which could indicate we need TWO WRs
and I still suspect we need a bonafide center at least as a backup and maybe a return man
