Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

Yeah, different eras, different league...Sipe has a league MVP and Kosar went to 3 AFC title games, I’m not a Baker Hater per se but I don’t think that really means much, other than he’s not the shit bucket that preceded him for about 15 years. He’s no Kosar yet, but he’s also not Seneca Wallace, Jake Delhommes corpse, or Spergin Wynn either

I remember every last stinking one of them :shake:

It's a curse for life-long Browns fans. We may lay in our death beds and piss ourselves, forget our own names, and the like for the remainder of our days but we will remember the rotation of fucktards that ran the Brown's organization into the ground and the players that desecrated this once proud franchise with their presence. Maybe it was my fault that I was born the year they last won a championship.

Well at least we made the playoffs this year but I'm not going to get my hopes up. However, if they make the Super Bowl, I will go no matter where it is.

I think Baker can be a great QB for the Browns as long as they don't have to break the bank to keep him. He will end up being a Wentz or Goff if they pay him max QB money. Baker is going to need a good OL and talent around him to be successful.
And apparently now some Browns fans are pining for D Watson, because Screamin A is on a rampage

FWIW I think OBD will fit in fine now that Baker has established himself.

If/when he plays again for the Browns, there won't be any doubt this is Baker's team on the fueld. Baker had to become a solid QB after ODB got hurt and he also got comfortable in the offense. That development makes ODB an asset, not a liability going forward.

I mean ... honest question... everyone here would flip Baker and some picks for Watson in a heartbeat right?

The ESPN scenario was Watson for Mayfield, OBJ, the Browns next 3 first round picks and 4th round pick.

So... No?

I mean obviously in a "demand trade" situation the Texans would be falling all over themselves to get that deal done so probably not the best for the Browns.

If there was no scheme in place and just QB in nameless system, and it was mayfield, OBJ this years 1st and a 3rd and a 4th (this year) and maybe a 2nd or 3rd in rhe future. Sure, but I imagine it will take more than that.

My question is, how much does Watson improve Stefanskis offense marginally and is that more valuable to you than well, taking you from a really good cap situation to what ultimately ends up cap hell. Its not just Watson vs Mayfield pay now, pay later, but they $ you'll have to spend to overcome 3 1st round draft picks being gone. I mean, why do what the Texans did to put themselves in this situation?

The fun part is, I am sure Depodesta has a team of nerds on it right now.

There’s no way in hell anyone with 3 brain cells makes that proposed trade. I get that they are expecting those to be low 1sts because they make deep playoff runs, but Watson gets hurt and you’re giving away top 5 picks. Plus, he’s a good player, but I’m not convinced he’s the reincarnation of Johnny Unitas

OH that was way more than i’m thinking... Texans are bent over a barrel... i’d offer Baker, 2 first (21 & 23) and a 4th ... no OBJ and no way to 3 first...
