Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Jamison takes so many bad shots it's not even funny. They're finally under .500. Any first rounder they would get for AV would be low anyway.

Keep playing well enough to lose the close games. With all the other garbage teams, we're probably looking at picking somewhere between 8-12.

For those who missed it

Cleveland Cavaliers name Zydrunas Ilgauskas special assistant to the general manager

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- When Zydrunas Ilgauskas was considering an offer to join the Cavaliers front office as a special assistant to General Manager Chris Grant, one of the first people he called was longtime friend and former teammate Danny Ferry.
Ferry, of course, made a successful transition from player with the Cavs and San Antonio Spurs to executive with both teams.
"Danny was honest," Ilgauskas said in a conference call with reporters on Wednesday. "Obviously, it's a lot of work, a lot of film watching, a lot of studying, a lot of talent evaluation.
"But I'm looking forward to it. I'll take it like everything else I do in my life -- as a challenge. I can't promise anything but one thing -- my work ethic will stay the same as it was when I was a player. That won't change."

It's tough for me to watch a Cavs game this year. I enjoy watching them win but I want a high draft pick again this year. I would love for them to see if they can trade for another first round pick, Buford would look great late in the first round.

you should get your wish...one way or another, either from chris grant trading players, injuries or the normal wear and tear of the season with not enough talent, we should end up with a lottery pick

I find the cavs enjoyable to watch just for the fact of watching Irving (who is a serious fucking stud), thompson and also Alonzo Gee

Grant better hurry up with the trades, because Scott has these guys playing with playoff intensity. The rest of the league is playing like they couldn't care less. The Cavs could end up as the eighth seed in a very weak East. We would get crushed in the first round, and miss out on some fabulous draft pick. :(

I would love to see the Cavs add a talented, athletic big man and a good shooting guard. Andy, Parker and Caspi are not starters on a team contending for a title. The Cavs could be a lot of fun in a couple of years.

Hell, even with the 8 seed in the East and a quick departure from the Playoffs, the Cavs could land a VERY SOLID player given how stacked this upcoming draft potentially is.

Do I want this to happen? No.

Will I be angry if it happens? Not at all. A sign of things to come under the direction of Byron Scott.
