Protocols only work when people follow them.

Zach Plesac was sent home by the Indians and will be quarantined for 72 hours after going out with friends in Chicago on Saturday night.

Advice: Plesac tossed six scoreless innings against the White Sox on Saturday afternoon and apparently wanted to celebrate the impressive outing, but he did so in violation of team rules and MLB's COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Plesac's actions have "upset teammates and club officials," per Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, and it's unclear whether he'll be given the go-ahead to make his scheduled start next weekend in Detroit.

They sent his ass home in a rental car.

Plesac left the team hotel and went out with some friends following a terrific outing Saturday afternoon against the White Sox. When that came to light on Sunday, he got sent home to Cleveland in a rental car and will now be quarantined for 72 hours. The 25-year-old right-hander certainly irked some people in the organization (and around the industry) with his decision to break protocol.

Stopped watching the game after the seventh inning last night only to wake up this morning to read that they tied the game using a squeeze play… I like Alomar

I too liked the squeeze play call. But I didn’t agree with leaving Zimmer in CF after Mercado was brought into the game in the 10th. I think Mercado easily makes the catch on the “hit” that Zimmer awkwardly pulled up on in the bottom of the 10th, allowing the Sox to score a run....and not getting the 2nd out of the inning.

The 5-9 slot black holes we have are going to continue to be a big issue

Whoever is at catcher you can almost call a sure out everytime they step up to the plate

Domingo Santana needs to get thrown back into the bargain dumpster, hes been completely awful, no signs of competence. Might as well throw DeSheilds in there isntead of him, maybe he manufactures a bit with his speed.

Mike Freeman has not looked good at all either.

Mercado and Zimmer I guess you can say there is maybe hope they turn it around somewhat.
