The 5-9 slot black holes we have are going to continue to be a big issue

Whoever is at catcher you can almost call a sure out everytime they step up to the plate

Domingo Santana needs to get thrown back into the bargain dumpster, hes been completely awful, no signs of competence. Might as well throw DeSheilds in there isntead of him, maybe he manufactures a bit with his speed.

Mike Freeman has not looked good at all either.

Mercado and Zimmer I guess you can say there is maybe hope they turn it around somewhat.
Agree regarding the 5-9 slots. Maybe things will improve when Perez :biggrin:gets back which should be shortly. Really Naquin should help if he ever can stay healthy.

Sort of disagree regarding Freeman. I just do not think that he has had enough opportunities to prove himself. He might be better than some of the guys that are playing.

Reyes looks like he is starting to turn things around which would be very helpful. I guess we shall see.

Perez is nothing really special on offense but the other options are so bad hes a pretty big upgrade.

Since I have gone through some of what Francona might be going through, I will be somewhat surprised if I see him back as the Cleveland manager next season. That is if he is able to finish out this season.

Also, after what Clev did this past weekend in Chicago I would look to trade his ass. Plesac is a different story.

Indians hitters have watched this Cubs pitcher throw first pitch changeup right down the middle of the plate to almost every batter into the 5th inning. Do they adjust? Hell no, they take that 1st pitch strike then commence to swinging at garbage the rest of the at bat. Bases loaded 1 out and they salvage 1 bullshit run on a weak sac fly. Pathetic, and this crew is hard to watch day to day and nothing changes. Mind boggling

Well, their batting coach, Ty V, did leave about a week ago so that is no longer an excuse and you are right about it getting harder and harder to watch them.

Also, get rid of Lindor before the trading deadline. I know that he got a hit last night but he is batting around .225

That's why Jarrod Dyson is Jarrod Dyson and the Pirates are the Pirates. :bonk:

There's no good reason to get picked off at second with no outs in the 9th in a tie game.
