Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

correct didn’t realize it was now his son.

but (according to Wiki), this dude has only 6 losses in 7 years.
so still curious why it took that long to move up to a higher division.
His dad set the bar so high that 6 losses in 7 years was like losing 6 games in decades.
Larry's resume…football coach at Mount Union for 27 seasons, from 1986 through the 2012 season. In May 2013, Kehres retired with a record of 332–24–3 as head coac

His dad was his AD but is retiring. That may have been the move that compelled him to pursue this opportunity with Toledo. I also believe he was college teammates with Jason Candle, his new boss.

I just do not think that the family wanted to leave Mount Union plus I really do not know how good of a position coach he was because division III football is more about the players

Welcome to the 21st century, Georgia. Despite the "hurr, durr Browns coach" comments I've seen on the web, he's a great hire to redesign that offense.

Interesting hire to say the least. Didn’t think we’d go the route of hiring an “Air Raid” disciple but here we are.

The man made Brandon Weeden a first round draft pick and made Jameis Winston a pro bowler. Would love @Nutriaitch’s thoughts too since he was on staff at LSU when Jamarcus Russell won the Sugar Bowl.

Brock Vandagriff, come on down!

He's on his way....

Georgia lands highly touted 2021 QB recruit Brock Vandagriff

Georgia filled a need at quarterback on Tuesday when ESPN Junior 300 signal-caller Brock Vandagriff committed to the Dawgs.

Vandagriff is the No. 24-ranked recruit in the 2021 class and the No. 2 prospect in the state of Georgia. He's a 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect from Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart, Georgia.

Vandagriff originally committed to Oklahoma in June, but he decommitted from the Sooners in January.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart and his staff are going to have a new starting quarterback in the 2020 season as Jake Fromm is headed to the NFL. The coaches flipped quarterback D'Wan Mathis from Ohio State and picked up junior college quarterback Stetson Bennett in the 2019 class and ESPN 300 quarterback Carson Beck in 2020.
