Cavaliers move to 12-0, advance to regional finals

PIQUA - Coldwater remained unbeaten on the season as it jumped on Dayton Oakwood early en route to a 35-7 win in the Division IV regional semifinal Friday at Alexander Stadium in Piqua.
The win sends Coldwater (12-0) to the regional championship on Friday against Kettering Archbishop Alter at a site to be determined.
The Cavaliers scored on their second possession when quarterback Cory Klenke ran it in from 14 yards out. Klenke finished the game with eight rushes for 40 yards and one touchdown.
"We had a lot of guys make big plays for us tonight," Coldwater coach John Reed said.
It was through the air that Klenke hurt the Lumberjacks (8-4). The senior was 15-of-22 for 368 yards and touchdowns of 64, 31 and 90 yards.

LOL Okay. Some of you should follow eastern Ohio football a little more closely.

I'll be on the sidelines Friday night for the Big Red-Perry game. I'll get a good look then. They did put a 'hurtin on Mooney, but Mooney can't pass, so, if they get behind, they're in big trouble. That Busick kid is a stud, but we'll see if he can handle Coldwater (or Alter).

You going Friday, JCOSU ?

Nope, prior engagement. It's at Troy though. I had heard Piqua....

Oh I know all about the MAC Conference. I'm just saying, nobody is going to kick Big Red's ass this season or next for that matter. Coldwater may very well beat Big Red, but it will be a close one. From what I hear, Coldwater is going to have trouble with Kettering Alter. Good Luck

I'll be there. Troy isn't more than a half hour away and I wanna see Homan knock some bodies around. Hopefully it's a good game, is there anybody I should be looking for on Alter or Coldwater's side other than Homan? Should the game be close? Thanks for any scouting reports that can be afforded.
