College Gameday Season Preview

We are the innovators, they are the imitators
Anyone wanna start a little convo about the show?

First off, it is nice to see Herbie back on TV. There aren't enough Ohio State, Reds, and Bengals fans on TV.

Second, nothing is better than seeing a frustrated Lloyd Carr on national television.

For those that care about such things, they did go through the laundry list of USC's off-season issues, so there was no free pass there. Pete Carroll looked noticeably older in his brief interview. I think USC will go 11-1 in the regular season with a win over ND.

If those things were going on at Ohio State, we would have Shelley Smith sleeping in Morrill Tower over the summer.

Herbie just predicted 12 wins for Notre Dame and Mark May is hounding him. Corso really doesn't like our defense. He talks about losing our top 8 or 9 tacklers a lot. Someone needs to tell him it's much more experienced than he's giving it credit for.

Even considering how weak the Pac-10 is year in and year out, USC will still lose 2-3 games this season. They're losing WAY too much at the skill positions.

The PAC-10 should be much tougher this year. Cal, ASU, and UO could really challenge USC but unfortunately USC gets all three at home. The PAC-10 is going to pass the ACC in the next couple years as the nation's 3rd best conference.
