Crying Clarett

Has there ever been a player that has whined more about themselves and how terrible their lives are??? Clarett you need to shut your little mouth and focus on whats important. Does slamming OSU really make your cause important? Its just interesting that Clarett has disappeared off the football radar since he was denied by the NFL and now all of suddent Clarett has to make claims so once again he will be the talk of the college fb world. I would say this is no more than a publicity stunt to get people talking about him. Hey you know what they say...theres no such thing as bad publicity. Its funny to point out that Clarett only went to OSU one year! Get over it buddy! I love OSU and the idea of TEAM. Clarett will never be a team player. He only cares about #1. Thats it. I hope you fall flat on your face and are introduced to NFL by a huge defensive smackdown. One last note. Shame on ESPN...they just love to stir controversy....especially about OSU. I was very disappointed to hear that they even printed anything about that loser Clarett. Sad sad sad.

conspiracy theory.. in reverse

my conspiracy theory involves a "wag the dog" like approach.. tressel losing popularity amongst the buckeye nation gets clarett to try to distract the buckeye fans with a bunch of stupidass comment to espn the magazine again (after being ignored by SI)..
meanwhile buckeye fans rush in defense of coach tressel ignoring the fact that tresselball has always generated about 100 yards of offense despite having some good talent at most positions. :groove:

Here it is:

ESPN wants Utah out of the top 8 to stir up BCS controversey (Fiesta Bowl has been quoted saying they will give Utah a bid if they're eligible--top eight or higher, six is a guarantee). They conspire to demoralize programs that stand in the way of teams that may jump them in the BCS (Ohio State smearing before our game with scUM and framing Michigan State players before they play Wisconsin at home--more will come). It sounds excessive and impossible, but it would make a great book.

The walls are crashing in for this kid. He had the world in the palm of his hand at the end of 2002. Now less than 2 years later, he's facing life without football and without an education...and it's all his own fault. If he thinks this is going to get the NFL's respect, he's an idiot. NFL policy: What goes on within the team, stays within the team. They don't want guys that are going to squeel about stuff, be it true or not. Maybe ESPN did write this to hurt Clarett. What team wants a guy that's going to blab to the media about anything that goes on within the team. He'll be a nobody in the NFL even if he does make it. He has gotten hurt every year he has played football in his life. Injuries hurt RBs no matter how good they are.

My theory is that Loydd Carr paid ESPN to run this story becuase he knows he needs any help he can get in beating Tressel's boys in The Shoe.

Here's my conspiracy theory:

ESPN is owned by Disney.

Disney is headquartered where, Florida?

The powers that be in Disney, living in Florida, are Hurricane fans.

They're doing everything they can to try and smear our program to 'get back at us' for embarrasing them on national TV in Jan. '03.

This is no more that the sourest of grapes from us besting them on the gridiron for the NC.

Either that, or they're pissed because no Buckeyes uttered "We're going to Disney World!" after winning the NC in '03.

Makes sense to me! :p
