I have no problem with the mask in public places like restaurants, brewpubs, grocery stores, etc. Following these rules, has certainly helped reduce the isolation rules IMHO.

No one wears a mask in restaurants and brewpubs. They wear them while they walk seven feet to the table or bar, and then take them off to eat and drink.

If this bullshit was really so dangerous, every Walmart employee would be dead already.

I think Brian’s point is that he’ll take the mask over the quarantine every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

So, the mayor's (mayor not capitalized on purpose) new re-opening chart. This fucktard seems to not realize that we likely won't hit a less than 1% positive test rate over a full week for maybe a year or more. Right now, unless you're family with five or fewer members under one roof, you can still forget about going to a restaurant. A married couple and their single friend? Nope. A non-married couple? Nope. My visiting sibling and I? Nope.

We now have possibly the 5th COVID-19 case in our family. Every one of these is a doctor. Every doctor I know has stories of whimpering, apologetic patients and their families who "didn't know", "thought it was just like the flu", "didn't think my friends would be the type of people who get it", or "wanted to exert my rights." I am astonished at the absolute nonsense I hear about COVID-19 emanating from the United States.

Personally, I am fine with that, so long as the people who put themselves at risk take responsibility for their actions. Isn't that the basic foundation of a capitalistic society? So, don't go cry to a doctor or hospital and put others at risk if you get it. Use your ignorance or freedom to heal yourself.

Here is the bottom line from the top researchers in the world: COVID-19 is going to be with us until the 4th quarter of 2021 and the winter in the northern hemisphere could be devastating. Please take precautions to protect yourselves and your families.

Here is the bottom line for many industries: Your customers have learned how to shop and do business online. They are never coming back in the numbers you once thought normal. Retail and many service providers were already severely under pressure from changing consumer preferences, COVID-19 has just accelerated their demise. So, in many industries, life will never be the same even if COVID-19 restrictions were removed tomorrow. Astute business people will look for opportunities in the future that is likely to come rather than the past.
