David Brandon YRSOB (brand deflater / email enthusiast / cowardly quitter)

I live in Toledo. This city is a hotspot for fast food chains to try out new products before releasing them onto the national scene. Thanks To David Brandon, the Domino's chain has basically been wiped out of existence here. The only one is in Perrysburg. And who knows how long that one will last. So thank you DB YRSOB for not relegating us to the try pizza that someone else had to fix. Hope you stay north of us for years to come.

Yep, Brandon is safe as long as he's tickling that scumbag's prostate.

Pressuring David Brandon over football woes hurts University of Michigan, Stephen Ross says

"He's probably the most qualified athletic director in the country. I think he's terrific," said billionaire real estate developer Stephen Ross, a UM alumnus who has given the university $310 million in recent years.

Holy shit! I can't believe I have missed what is going on here. These clowns are actually trying to devalue this program enough to relocate them.

Has anyone asked Stephen Ross the following question...Are there 2 *worse* football examples of how leaders should behave lately than the Miami Dolphins (the J. Martin incident) and D Brandon / B Hoke?

Edit: Posted this and remembered that Stephen Ross is only responsible for 2 of the 3 worst examples lately--thanks to Roger Goodell.

Student petition calls for Schlissel to remove Athletic Director Dave Brandon

A University student petition calling for Athletic Director Dave Brandon to be relieved from his post has collected 5,429 signatures as of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Ford School graduate student Zeid El-Kilani has created a petition through the Central Student Government’s UPetition website, stating that the University’s football program has become a “black eye” for the University and requests President Mark Schlissel remove Brandon. The petition summary notes the athletic program’s historic ability to provide prestige to the University, both as a recruiting aid for new students and a source of pride for alumni, saying the department currently runs the risk of “producing a generation of alumni that are disinterested and disengaged.”

El-Kilani’s petition was launched late Monday evening in the wake of the football team’s third loss in a row over the weekend, a game that generated a range of criticisms of Brandon and the department for poor leadership and treatment of player safety. He said the petition speaks to broader concerns about Brandon’s handling of the department.
