DE Chase Young (Nagurski, Hendricks, Bednarik, Silver Football, NFL DROY, New Orleans Saints)

I saw that but the rumors I read straight up said that he was done. That article is much more positive than the rumors led on.

However it ends up, the rumors usually have some exaggeration in them

What gets me is how so much that screws Ohio State so badly has to do with rules that reasonable people believe to be unreasonable.

I get it

the rules are the rules
They knew the rules

I agree with that take on it

to a point

just sick to death of the NCAA's arcane bullshit. Even if he only misses two games, his Heisman candidacy is over because guys that didn't blink when Derrick Henry was pulled over in a Cadilac Escalade will act like this is tantamount to murder.

Sick to death of the NCAA's arcane bullshit. How is it reasonable to not let them sign with agents. Who, exactly, is harmed by this? Will the have-nots all of the sudden become have-nottier if we repeal this rule.

Sick to death of the NCAA's arcane bullshit. Because they WILL eventually repeal this rule, just like they plan to repeal the last rule that they destroyed multiple seasons over.

If Chase took money from an agent; he shouldn't have, he's 100% responsible

AND I am sick to death of the NCAA's arcane bullshit

Feel for you guys. It's cold comfort but you're doing the right thing. We've been there before and self reporting is always, always the best option for the program. We lost Gurley for four games but it could have been alot worse.

As I expected, Ohio State is doing the right thing.

Georgia has done the right thing before... Seem to remember something about AJ Green, but it's early and grumbling and caffeine are a bad combination for me...

Used to live in Tallahassee. The Criminoles fans were constantly talking about how the NCAA should go into Columbus and Athens and (insert flavor of the month)... and "clean house" on those "corrupt programs". Those who self report are looked down on all over the college football world. Fuck 'em
